A new song written to an traditional Manx tune, built around the ancient Manx traditions for Good Friday.
The Manx tradition for the morning of Good Friday is eating flitters, caught fresh from the rocks and cooked there on the shore, after which a traditional Manx dance was performed over the fire's embers.
It is to the music of this dance that this song was composed in 2009 by a group of young Manx people as a part of the Bree Workshop Weekend.
