Congrats to local duo Adhene (Paul Cringle and Margaid Bird) for winning the 'new song in a traditional style' at the Pan-Celtic with original composition "Auldyn River"! The lyrics to Paul's melody were written by Wendy Hurst and translated by Fiona McArdle.
Manx group Glashtin also did fantastically at the festival in Carlow, where they were placed 2nd in the Pan-Celtic Song Contest.
