"A.G. Gilchrist is a key figure in the editing of Manx folk songs from the Clague Collection. The documentary evidence for her activities continues to grow. Letters from her to P.W. Caine were found in a private collection last summer and a transcript of them appeared in KMJ this year. Overlooked has been her correspondence to Mona Douglas now in the MNHL. This too has been transcribed." [Stephen Miller, Vienna 2016]
