Manx dancing at Laxey School

Laxey School enjoyed a Manx dance workshop which included the Flitter Dance... just in time for Good Friday! Jo Callister [DESC] and Chloe Woolley [Culture Vannin] visited Laxey School last week, where they told the year 6 children about airs, jigs and reels, and taught the Manx reel step, Flitter Dance, Y Mheillea & a bit of Hunt the Wren!
