Braaid Eisteddfod

When: Sat, 02 Mar 2019

Time: 7.30pm

A night of entertainment, competition and laughter!

AT 7.30PM

Being held this year on Saturday 2nd March, the Braaid Eisteddfod has been running for over 70 years.  It’s still as popular as ever with those in the know arriving early - they know they are there for a good night’s entertainment.

The Eisteddfod is primarily a competition for music and poetry, and while there is a programme of classes for the evening the organisers are always delighted to create an extra class should the opportunity arise.

At just £5 for admission, which of course includes a good country supper, it’s a great night out.  Start time is 7.00pm.

Keeping everything in order will be the Chairman Chris Lyon, Literary Judge is Dot Tilbury, Musical Judge is Allan Wilcocks and accompanying the musical items will be Wendy McDowell.

For those preparing for the Guild the Eisteddfod is the ideal opportunity to try out your performance in front of a very appreciative audience with constructive and encouraging feedback from the judges.
